Ann Kalmbach, Executive Director and
co-founder of WSW
has an MFA
from Rochester Institute of Technology
and a BFA from SUNY New Paltz. Ann has
produced a number of artists' books with
her long-time collaborator, Tatana Kellner,
under the acronym KaKe Art. She has also
been a resident artist at Visual Studies
Workshop, University of Southern Maine,
and the MacDowell Colony. As a co-founder
of WSW, Ann has helped hundreds of artists
print portfolio editions and artists'
books over the years.

Tatana Kellner, Artistic Director and
co-founder of WSW
holds an MFA
from Rochester Institute of Technology
and a BA from the University of Toledo.
Tatana (Tana) has received numerous awards
for her work including two New York Foundation
for the Arts individual artists' grants.
She has been an artist-in-residence at
the MacDowell Colony, Yaddo, Ragdale,
Virginia Center for the Creative Arts,
Banff Centre, Lightworks, the Millay Colony,
ArtPark and Visual Studies Workshop. Her
work can be viewed at tatanakellner.com.
Tana oversees the artistic quality of
all WSW programs, organizes all juries
for competitive programs, and is responsible
for marketing WSW's artists' books and
portfolios.

Anita Wetzel, Development Director
and co-founder of WSW
holds a BFA in Painting from
SUNY New Paltz. Anita has been artist-in-residence
at Blue Mountain Lake Center for the Arts,
Virginia Center for the Creative Arts,
Weir Farm Trust, as well as at international residencies
in France and Spain. As Development Director,
Anita manages all governmental, corporate,
and private sector grants.

Robert "Woody" Woodruff , Maintainance
Mogul
has been the nuts and bolts behind WSW
from the beginning. When a press needs
repairing, a beater needs building, a
roof needs replacing, a jig needs designing,
a kiln needs rewiring, a slide rule needs
figuring, or a motorcycle needs tweeking,
Woody has been here to do it. |

Chris Petrone, Studio Manager
has a BFA from
SUNY Purchase in painting, drawing and
printmaking. She supervises the day to
day operation of the papermaking studio.
As Studio Manager, Chris ensures the smooth
operation of all of the printmaking studios.

Marybeth
Wehrung, Clay Studio Manager
got her BFA in ceramics from SUNY New Paltz and was our 2005
chili bowl intern. She is currently teaching beginning throwing
and advanced community classes at WSW. As clay studio manager,
Marybeth is responsible for everything clay! This includes the
up keep of the studio, as well as the supervision of clay events
such as WSW's annual Chili Bowl Fundraiser.

Katie Scott-Childress, Deputy Director
of Development
Katie helps gather support for WSW through
grants, donations, memberships, and special
events. She received a B.A. from the
University of California, Santa Cruz,
an M.A. in American Studies from the
University of Maryland, and an M.L.S.
from the same school. She makes functional
pottery, mostly out of porcelain, in
her home studio in Kingston.

Sarah Burt, Deputy Director
of Marketing
Sarah holds a BFA in Film/Video from
The Rhode Island School of Design.
She worked for many years in the motion
picture industry before opening a gallery
in Rosendale with her husband. She currently
lives
in Hurley and is very happy to wipe off
the peanut butter and come down to WSW,
where among other things, she serves
as resident geek, expanding and maintaining
WSW's on-line presence through the website, blog, online
archive, Facebook,
Flickr and
whatever else she can think of.

Sandra Brown, Office Manager
Sandra earned her B.A. in 2006 from Mills
College, in Oakland California, where
she studied English Literature and Book
Arts. While at Mills, she worked as an
assistant at the Heller Rare Book Room & Mills
Center for the Book. When Sandra relocated
to Rosendale over a year ago for WSW’s
admin internship position, she had no
idea she would become so smitten with
the Binnewater. Now she tries in earnest
to keep the flurry of office activity
properly coordinated. She has also become
close friends with the WSW Vandercook.

Kristen DeGree , Studio Intern
Kristen was raised in North Dakota and received her BA in visual arts in Seattle,
WA. She enjoys the process of printmaking, and its cultural relevance in advertising
and political propaganda. Kristen's work is inspired from disposable culture,
and primarily with the waste and impersonality that results from it. |

Lindsay Gleason , Studio Intern
Lindsay, originally from the Philadelphia
area, graduated from the University of
the Arts Printmaking department in 2007.
Since then she has been living life,
gaining experience, and collecting stories
and moments to inspire new art. Her art
centers around concepts of community
and vulnerability using insects to draw
parallels to humans. |

Terez Iacovino , Studio Intern
Teréz Iacovino, a recent graduate
of Syracuse University, originally
hails from Middletown, New York. She
holds a BFA in printmaking and currently
works with print, sculpture and installation.
Growing up in multiple structures and
locales, she has a vast interest in
landscape, housing, and the relationship
between the two. Her work deals
with the idea of sprawl, particularly
suburbanization and land development. |

Dorrie Sanders , Chili
Bowl Intern
Dorrie received a bachelors degree in Graphic Design from the
University of Massachusetts in 2004. She began her career in clay working
at a small pottery making slab built bowls and tiles while in college. Soon
after graduation she made the switch and focused all her creative output
on making her own clay studio.
Since 2005, Dorrie has been creating and selling functional stoneware
pieces out of her studio. In the summer of 2009, she was an
apprentice at Sheilagh Flynn studios. Dorrie is working on her portfolio
in preparation for graduate school applications for ceramic arts.
