Robert "Woody" Woodruff , Maintainance
Mogul
has been the nuts and bolts behind WSW
from the beginning. When a press needs
repairing, a beater needs building, a
roof needs replacing, a jig needs designing,
a kiln needs rewiring, a slide rule needs
figuring, or a motorcycle needs tweeking,
Woody has been here to do it. |

Ruth
McKinney Burket, Clay
Studio Manager
Ruth received her MFA in ceramics at SUNY New Paltz where she
teaches as an adjunct professor. Her work explores
the
link between art and community building and has found that clay
is a
great vessel for bringing people together. As clay studio manager
she
is kept busy maintaining the studio and supervising clay classes
and
events such as WSW’s annual Chili Bowl Fundraiser. She
is always up
for creative conversation over a cozy cup of tea (in hand made
mugs of
course!).

Sarah Burt, Director
of Marketing
Sarah holds a BFA in Film/Video from
The Rhode Island School of Design.
She worked for many years in the motion
picture industry before opening a gallery
in Rosendale with her husband. She currently
lives
in Hurley and is very happy to wipe off
the peanut butter and come down to WSW,
where among other things, she serves
as resident geek, expanding and maintaining
WSW's on-line presence through the website, blog, online
archive, Facebook,
Flickr and
whatever else she can think of.

Sandra Brown, Office Manager
Sandra earned her B.A. in 2006 from Mills
College, in Oakland California, where
she studied English Literature and Book
Arts. While at Mills, she worked as an
assistant at the Heller Rare Book Room & Mills
Center for the Book. When Sandra relocated
to Rosendale for WSW’s
admin internship position, she had no
idea she would become so smitten with
the Binnewater. Now she tries in earnest
to keep the flurry of office activity
properly coordinated. She has also become
close friends with the WSW Vandercook.
