Pamela Blum, Artist, Director of Fine Arts, Dutchess County Community College, Kingston, NY
Pamela has directed the Fine Arts Department at Dutchess County Community College for the past four years. She has taught art at the college level for 15 years, most recently at Illinois State University.

Pam Flam, Artist, High Falls, NY
Pam is an artist who paints and works with textiles. She has exhibited regionally and is a member of the Marbletown Artists Association.

Kathy Friend, Banker (retired),
Kathy worked in the field of commercial banking for over 36 years, working her way up through the Asian Division of Chemical Bank, and later at HSBC, where she served as Senior Vice President in charge of commercial real estate loans. She is co-founder of the HSBC Women's Forum and the founder of HSBC's LGBT employee group. Kathy has recently become a full time resident and is enjoying getting to know the Hudson Valley

Karen Hendrickson, Health Care Administrator (retired), Consultant, Board President, Rifton, NY
Karen has worked for 26 years in Healthcare Administration. She has coordinated multi-agency collaborations (Veterans Administration, Social Security Administration, Housing & Urban Development, County Mental Health Services and others), and has served as Grant Reviewer for the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.

Amy Husten, Senior Project Manager of Special Project Dpt of Guggenheim Museum, Stone Ridge, NY
Amy has been working for the Guggenheim Museum since 1992 and has held several positions during her tenure. Her positions have largely been in a financial and planning capacity, including having been the Budget Director from 1992-1997. Currently she is Senior Project Manager for the Special Projects Department. Prior to coming to the Guggenheim, Ms. Husten has worked as a Manager and Analyst for the investment banking firm , Keilin and Bloom, Deputy Director for Governor Mario Cuomo’s Industrial Cooperation Council, and a consultant for employee owned businesses. She has also held administrative positions with non-profit organizations in New York, New Orleans, Philadelphia and Ithaca N.Y. Ms. Husten holds a B.A. and B.F.A from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Tulane University

Suzanne Leon, Fundraiser, YIVO Institute for Jewish Research, Board Treasurer, Saugerties, NY
Suzanne is currently Educational Marketer and Fundraiser for the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research in New York, NY. She is a former grantmaker at the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, Inc. and before that served as Portfolio Manager at Credit Suisse First Boston.

Marisol Limon Martinez, Artist, New York, NY
Marisol was Artist-In-Residence for WSW’s combined art-in-education and book arts grant in 2002. Marisol has received several grants, including a Pollock-Krasner Foundation award in 2003-04 and more recently, a Chashama AREA Visual Arts Studio Award. Her work is exhibited in the United States and France.

Marcuse Pfiefer, Collector, Gallery Owner (retired), Kingston, NY
From 1976 to 1992, Marcuse operated The Marcuse Pfeifer Gallery in New York City. In addition to gallery-owner, Marcuse has worked in the arts as an organizer of the first historical survey of The Male Nude in photography, juror of national photographic contests, as an appraiser for individual and public collections. Marcuse moved her gallery to Kingston in 1992, and has just recently retired her business.

Patricia C. Phillips, Professor/Chair, Art Dpt, SUNY New Paltz, Editor-In-Chief, Art Journal, New Paltz, NY
Patricia is a former faculty member of the Parsons School of Design, and since 1991 has taught at SUNY New Paltz. While at SUNY she has served as Chair of the Art Department, Interim Dean & Dean of the School of Fine & Performing Arts. Patricia’s research and critical writing has been published in ArtForum, Art in America, Flash Art, Sculpture and Public Art Review, and in 2002, she was appointed Editor-In-Chief of the Art Journal. Patricia also serves on the Executive Council of the Public Art Network of Americans for the Arts.
