Art is a medium through which we can express ourselves and understand and appreciate the expressions of others. Through art we learn to appreciate the past and create a new vision for a better future. Art teaches us to celebrate our unique diversity as Americans and as women. That is why Women's Studio Workshop was formed, and why it still exists now, almost thirty years later.

WSW welcomes all donations, whether they be in cash, in kind, or a piece of equipment. Our existence is dependent on the generosity of others around us, and in these days and times, it is even more vital than ever before. All donations are tax deductible.

Monetary Donations

I want to support the voice and vision of women in the arts through a contribution to Women's Studio Workshop. Simply follow the instructions of all subsequent screens. You will be taken to our on-line credit card processing service.

... or you can send your check via snail mail to WSW, .P.O. Box 489, Rosendale, NY 12472.

Thank you for your generous and vital support to women in the arts!

Equipment Wish List

WSW maintains large variety of equipment and we are always on the lookout for more—either to supplement or replace our current inventory. Many of our presses, type, kilns, and most of our potter's wheels have been donated by artists and friends.

Below is a list of other equipment/supplies that would enable visiting artists and participants in our programs to have the fullest and strongest creative experience possible.

  • Mac G5 Computer
  • Wood Type for our Art-In-Ed program
  • Slide Projectors
  • Digital Projectors (for use with CDs)
  • Television for Artist Housing
  • Good Dirt and Manure
