We are delighted to offer two printmaking workshop
sessions taught by Master Printer and teacher extraordinaire
Kathy Caraccio. The site for our Italian Printmaking
workshops is Castello di Potentino, found by Susan
Fateh, coordinator of our programs in Italy. Home
to the family of Graham Greene and nestled in a spectacularly
verdant Tuscan valley, Castello di Potentino is an
organic farm which produces its own top quality wines
and olive oil. It is located 70 km south east of
Siena and 2 km from the village
of Seggiano.
For many years, the Greenes themselves have been
deeply involved in supporting the arts. At the castle,
they host a wide variety of year-round activities
such as fine-arts courses, musical concerts, and
writing symposia. Last year, our course generated
a great deal of admiration for the seriousness and
professionalism of its participants!
