Come experience the classical process of printing
by letterpress in our unique and historic building.
WSW has a Chandler and Price Platen Press and
Vandercook Proof Press and a wide array of wood
and lead type. In addition to typesetting, artists
working in WSW's letterpress studio have the option
of creating their own photopolymer plates. Artists
are welcome to study letterpress printing during
our
Summer Arts Institute, to rent
the studio on an as-needed basis, or to use the
equipment as part of a Book
Arts Grant. Women's Studio Workshop also offers
private instruction
at an hourly rate. |
