Carolyn Swiszcz
Carolyn Swiszcz uses painting and video art to capture overlooked suburban spaces that shape our daily experiences. She came to WSW as a studio intern after earning her BFA at Minneapolis College of Art and Design. During her internship, she produced the humorousMy First Artists’ Book with fellow studio intern Amy Ciullo Vankleeck. Her work has been exhibited at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, the Minneapolis Institute of Art, the Drawing Center, and Miyako Yoshinaga Art Prospects, New York. Carolyn lives and works in Minneapolis.
