Dahlia Elsayed

Dahlia Elsayed worked in WSW’s silkscreen studio as a Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation artist-in-residence. Dahlia is a painter, printmaker, and maker of artists’ books. She makes text and image based work that synthesizes an internal and external experience of place, connecting the ephemeral to the concrete.

Dahlia received her MFA from Columbia University, and lives and works in New Jersey. She is Associate Professor of Humanities at CUNY La Guardia Community College in NY.
