Minerva Ayon

Minerva Ayon is a Chili Bowl Workspace Residency and Public Art Grant alumna. As a sculptor and interdisciplinary artist, her work ranges from textiles to ceramics to interactive installation. While at WSW for her first residency, she slipcast and painted pots for the 20th Annual Chili Bowl Fiesta, decorating them with geometric designs and traditional Oaxacan textile patterns.

She holds a BA in Sculpture from Center of Arts of Morelos, her MFA from the National University of Mexico, and has studied at Concordia University, Montreal.
