Our Summer Art Institute calendar is now online! There may be a few months of winter ahead of us, but that doesn't mean you can't start planning NOW for a fabulous art-filled summer!

We have put togther a special batch of art workshops this year, both here in the Hudson Valley and in the glorious hills of Tuscany. Our hand picked selection of Printmaking, Book Arts, Hand Papermaking, Fiber Arts and Encaustic Workshops will fuel your creative spirit and keep you warm all winter long!

SAVE THE DATE! Our 15th Annual Chili Bowl Fiesta Fundraiser is around the corner! Join us Saturday Feb 25th for a day of handmade ceramic bowls and piping hot chili and cornbread. Fiesta guests get to enjoy live entertainment from Dog On Fleas, raffle drawings, and the satisfaction of supporting a fabulous local arts organization, bowl-buyers will also be able to make immediate use of their new wares with a complementary serving of delicious, piping hot chili generously donated by over 20 Hudson Valley restaurants and chefs.

Women's Studio Workshop is a visual arts organization with specialized studios in printmaking, hand papermaking, ceramics, letterpress printing, photography, and book arts. Artists are invited to work at WSW as a part of our Fellowship Program, Artists' Books Grants, Residencies, Internships, or to learn new skills in our Summer Arts Institute and community workshop series.

Our mission is to operate and maintain an artists' workspace that encourages the voice and vision of individual women artists, to provide professional opportunities for artists, and to promote programs designed to stimulate public involvement, awareness, and support for the visual arts.
